Instantaneous Gas Water Heater Connection Kit (EXTERNAL SURFACE MOUNT)
FOR EXTERNAL SURFACE MOUNT INSTALLATIONS
Suitable for most instantaneous gas water heaters.
20mm full flow on all connections
PLEASE FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS SUPPLIED WITH THE KIT.
Important Information for the use of this kit
This kit has been designed to mount a surface mount gas water heating system on an external wall in an exposed location only.
It is not recommended that this kit is used to connect any heating unit that is not readily accessible as there are serviceable components used in this kit.
All three connector pipes in this kit are extendable from 130mm to 220mm.
Do not extend beyond the maximum of 220mm.
The water connecting pipes used in this kit should not be used for gas.
Do not connect the water pipes to any crox type fitting or any other water fitting with a narrow wall thickness as the washers may be damaged and could leak. (USE A VECTIS ADAPTOR OR SIMILAR)
Do not over tighten or use the pipe connector nuts to tighten in adaptors or nipples etc.
If the water pressure exceeds 500kpa a pressure limiting valve must be fitted to avoid over expansion of the water connectors.
For the best use of this kit, It is advised that the heating unit be mounted at approximately 240mm above the wing backs or adaptor nipples as this should allow enough room for the water pipes to be connected without being too tight. Use the 90 degree elbow supplied for the hot water outlet.
The connector pipes in this kit are designed to make alignment easier when making connections, it is important to keep the pipes as straight as possible with only minor offset bends in the pipe to help with alignment. Any bends in the pipes should to be kept to a minimum and should start no closer than 35mm from either nut end.
